How do I get started with Dunefox?
Create a free account at app.dunefox.io with no credit card required. You receive a 14-day trial with full Fox Pro features. Connect your first channel, upload your knowledge base content, invite your team members, and configure the AI agent through the guided setup.
Do I need technical skills to use Dunefox?
No. Dunefox is designed for non-technical business owners and teams. The website AI agent is added with a simple code snippet: copy, paste, and it is done. WhatsApp is connected through a guided setup flow. The knowledge base, campaigns, and lead management are all managed through a visual dashboard with no coding required.
How do I invite team members to my Dunefox workspace?
Go to Workspace Settings and select Team Members. Enter the team member's email address and assign a role, such as Owner, Agent, or a custom role. They receive an email invitation to join your workspace. Each plan supports a different number of seats: Fox supports 3, Fox Pro supports 10, and Fox Max supports 25.
What is a Dunefox Knowledge Collection?
A Knowledge Collection is a named group of content that your AI agent uses to answer customer questions, such as 'Product FAQs', 'Refund Policy', or 'Technical Support'. You can create multiple collections, assign each to specific channels, and toggle them active or inactive without deleting content. The AI only answers from active collections assigned to the relevant channel.
How do I switch a conversation from AI to a human agent in Dunefox?
Every conversation in the Dunefox inbox has an AI/Human toggle. Click it to switch from AI-automated mode to live agent mode. The customer receives a notification that they are now speaking with a human. Click the toggle again to hand back to AI. The switch takes one click and happens instantly.
What happens to my data when my Dunefox trial ends?
When the 14-day trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan. All conversation history, contacts, leads, knowledge base content, and team members are retained. No data is deleted. You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time to restore full feature access including AI responses above the Free plan quota.
How do I connect WhatsApp to Dunefox?
WhatsApp connection requires an active WhatsApp Business API account. From your Dunefox dashboard, go to Channels and select WhatsApp. Follow the guided setup to connect your WhatsApp Business number via the Meta Business Manager. Once connected, all WhatsApp messages appear in your Dunefox inbox in real time.
Can I use Dunefox without connecting WhatsApp?
Yes. Dunefox works independently with any combination of supported channels. You can start with just the website chat widget, then add WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, or Telegram later. Each channel is connected independently and all feed into the same shared inbox.
